secon

so i was chillin outside smith hall last night tryin to catch the tail end of 4/20 (did so successfully) when i saw andrew from enola gay going into to broadcast with sean from secrets of the ooze. i told him about this project and said i'd be down to play on his show, but that i need collaborators cause i physically need more hands to play and that i might want to buy a mixer and possibly another pedal first. so, my first live aktion will probably be on andrew's show enola gay, which is from 2-4 on tuesdays, assuming i'm ready to do it within the next month. i might just borrow a mixer from the station. it's pretty much up to me if i wanna carry all my gear over to the station, i just want to make sure my sound's full and dynamic enough first. he's probably going to play something of his from his laptop (he has a lot of pop songs played at warped speeds/layered/reversed and played over breakbeats/etc.), i'll improvise with junk/contact mic, and, if i have a mixer available, i'll probably find someone to improvise on junk guitar. dorm recordings are OK but never long/loud/dynamic/creative enough cause my neighbors get pissed, but i'll definitely post some if i get my mixer.

first

i make noise.

influences - The Haters, MSBR, Miles Davis, city and train sounds, Crass, cheap 40s, Void, C.C.C.C., Kevin Drumm, Earth, Blue Sabbath Black Cheer, weed, The New Blockaders, 90's emo, Burzum, Bastard Noise, Masonna, animal liberation, The Rita, Merzbow, John Wiese, etc.

all sounds recorded live on lo-fi (read: cheap) gear without overdubs.

plans: short term - recording grimy demos. saving up for more gear. possibly collaborating with several friends. medium term - playing on WUML. long term - putting out tapes on rrrecords, making bank, and puffing blunts with dominick fernow and stan reed.

leave me a comment/hit me up somehow if you give a fuck about my music.
